Agile 30 – Welcoming wannabe Agile Coaches and Trainers

Agile 30 – Overview

I started Agile 30 mentoring program last year and look like it was kind of successful based on feedback I received so far. Why we started and what was focus? Check here to know more about it. This is a 9 months program where people works in group to do below activities. Group will start functioning from February 2018 and will work till October.

1. Develop some good program based continuous feedback
2. Facilitate workshops on related topics
3. Facilitate Webinars
4. Speak in meetup/conferences
5. Get help in earning trainer credentials from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org or ICAgile

This years based on feedback, we are starting paid workshops so our coaches/trainers can earn little money if workshops become popular.

My role (just like last year)

1. Provide platform for meetup/webinar/conferences/workshops
2. Review group as well as individual progress
3. Provide feedback about individual and program
4. Help in getting accreditation
5. Arrange some opportunity for coaching and training

Below are our focus areas for this year.

Technical Practice Group

1. You should be able to write code, explore new practices and share it with community
2. End goal – Become PST to teach PSD or CSD trainer
3. Or become DevOps consultant/trainer
4. Time limit – 6 months
5. I can guarantee you that you will start getting return within 3 months 🙂

Agile Coaching Group

1. You have prior knowledge about agile coaching
2. Have written few blogs that I can read
3. Have clear understanding about Software Development Lifecycle
4. Have worked on leadership position in past
5. End goal is to become Agile Coaching Trainer in 4-6 months
6. Also develop program for enterprise agility and business agility

Professional Scrum Trainer Group

1. Have passed PSM – I with 95%
2. Having prior experience in Scrum Mastery
3. Have written few blogs about Scrum and role of Scrum Masters
4. Active in community or believe in community
5. Target to become PST in 4-6 months

Scaling Agile Practices Group

1. Yet to decide goal but may be assessment champion
2. Something to do with Organization Agility
3. May be SAFe, LeSS or promoting Spotify/ING model
4. Also DevOps at Scale
5. Kanban at Enterprise

Some basic rules

1. You are a resident of India (Simplified version – staying in India)
2. Should be able to waste at least one Saturday
3. Willing to invest time in promoting yourself
4. Will be able to spend 2-4 hours every week for review call
5. You can be part of only one group at a time
